Repairs of Vážsky Bridge in Komárno to Begin in Summer

Reconstruction work on the Vážsky Bridge in Komárno is scheduled to begin this summer following a public procurement process. The Slovak Road Administration launched the tender for a contractor to carry out the bridge repairs in December of last year. Komárno, located in southern Slovakia near the Hungarian border, relies on the bridge as a key transportation link across the Váh River. The reconstruction represents part of ongoing infrastructure maintenance efforts by Slovakia's national road authority to ensure the safety and functionality of major transportation routes.
