Bratislava Region Transforms Social Care Facilities to Create Home-Like Environment for Residents

Social care facilities operated by the Bratislava Self-Governing Region are undergoing deinstitutionalization to provide residents with more personalized care environments. The regional government is transforming large, impersonal institutional facilities into smaller, home-like settings where people requiring assistance can live in more comfortable and dignified conditions.
