Eastern Slovakia's Michalovce to Modernize Oncology Center for €2.5 Million

Share:

The oncology center in Michalovce, a city in eastern Slovakia, will undergo modernization worth nearly €2.5 million, with completion scheduled for August. The upgrade aims to improve radiotherapy access for patients from the Zemplín region, particularly from the districts of Michalovce, Humenné, and Vranov nad Topľou. The Zemplín region is located in Slovakia's far east, bordering Ukraine and Poland, and the modernization will serve residents across multiple districts who currently face limited access to specialized cancer treatment facilities.
