
Slovak cyclist Kubiš finishes 11th at Dwars door Vlaanderen as Ganna takes victory

Italian cyclist Filippo Ganna won the Dwars door Vlaanderen cycling race, with Slovak rider Lukáš Kubiš finishing in 11th place. Belgian favorite Wout van Aert, racing on home soil, came second after another unsuccessful long-distance breakaway attempt, while Norwegian Sören Wärenskjold of Uno-X Mobility rounded out the podium in third place. Dwars door Vlaanderen is a major one-day cycling race in Belgium's Flanders region, part of the prestigious spring classics season that attracts the world's top cyclists.
