The D1 highway in Bratislava will be completely closed overnight in the direction of Trnava between the D2 junction and the airport due to the transport of an oversized load. Police have warned drivers to expect significant traffic restrictions and congestion on alternative routes during the closure. The temporary shutdown affects one of the capital's main arterial roads connecting to Slovakia's second-largest city and major transportation hub.
