Wizz Air launches direct flights from Košice to Rome

Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air inaugurated a new direct flight route from Košice, Slovakia's second-largest city, to Rome's Fiumicino Airport with a ceremonial first flight. The service will operate year-round twice weekly on Tuesdays and Saturdays, providing eastern Slovakia with its first direct connection to the Italian capital. The new route expands international connectivity from Košice International Airport and offers travelers in the region an alternative to connecting through other European hubs to reach Rome.
