Tatras Mountain Trail Repairs to Begin After Two-and-Half-Year Delay

The Tatra National Park administration will finally begin repairs to a damaged section of the Tatra Trail between Hrebienok and the crossroads above Rainer Hut. The red-marked section of the Tatra Magistrala, a major hiking route through Slovakia's most prominent mountain range, has been awaiting repairs for two and a half years. The Tatra Mountains, located on the Slovak-Polish border, are Slovakia's premier tourist destination and home to the country's highest peaks, making the trail system crucial for the tourism industry in the region.
