Germany Intensifies Bid to Host Football World Cup in 2038 or 2042

Germany is increasing its efforts to secure hosting rights for the FIFA World Cup in either 2038 or 2042. The German Football Association has developed a comprehensive bid proposal that includes 14 stadiums, each with a minimum capacity of 40,000 spectators, to meet FIFA's hosting requirements. Germany previously hosted the World Cup in 2006 and the European Championship in 2024, giving the country extensive experience in organizing major international football tournaments. The 2038 and 2042 World Cups represent the next available hosting opportunities following already allocated tournaments, making Germany's early preparation a strategic move to position itself as a leading candidate for one of these future editions.
