Russian Liquefied Natural Gas Exports Rise More Than 10% Since Start of Year

Share:

Russian exports of liquefied natural gas have increased by more than 10% since the beginning of the year. The growth was driven primarily by increased exports from the Arctic LNG 2 project, a major Russian energy infrastructure development in the Arctic region. The export increase comes despite ongoing international sanctions against Russia's energy sector following its invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
