Košice to Replace Problematic Intersection Near Crow Arena with Roundabout After Easter

Construction will begin Tuesday, April 7, immediately after Easter on a long-awaited reconstruction of the problematic intersection at Kostolianska cesta - Národná trieda (Vodárenská ulica) - Podhradová near the Crow arena in Košice. The current intersection's technical parameters have failed to meet motorists' requirements for safe and smooth traffic flow for many years. The project will replace the existing intersection with a roundabout designed to improve traffic safety and flow in this busy area of Slovakia's second-largest city.
