The Febiofest film festival has begun in Bratislava, marking the 33rd edition of one of Slovakia's major cultural events, which will screen more than 60 films during its run. Meanwhile, Bratislava's public transport company is planning a major technological upgrade, announcing plans to install more than 1,000 new electronic card readers in the city's buses and trams after launching a public procurement process in the autumn.
