Police Traffic Check on D2 Highway Finds 60 Violations

Police conducted a major traffic enforcement operation on the D2 highway, discovering 60 violations during vehicle inspections. Officers administered 433 breath tests for alcohol and two drug tests during the operation. In one case, police detected alcohol levels below one per mille in a driver's system. The D2 is one of Slovakia's main highways, connecting Bratislava with other parts of the country, making it a frequent target for traffic safety operations as authorities work to reduce road accidents and enforce traffic laws.
