The Orava Museum is planning to restore several traditional folk garments, including bodices and caps, from its collection. The museum houses numerous hand-decorated clothing items that showcase the traditional culture of the Gorals, the highland people of the Orava region in northern Slovakia. These garments represent an important part of Slovakia's cultural heritage, preserving the distinctive traditional dress and craftsmanship of the Goral community that inhabits the mountainous areas along Slovakia's borders with Poland.
